I've just sent dad home to post this blog, they don't allow computers (or even mobile phones) in the ward. But I told him that as he seemed a tad fatigued he wouldn't have to say much but please some more photos.
Just to tell everyone that mummy is still suffering looking like an elephant with that long thing in her nose, but is better today, (still I don't need her nose to get my food).
However she is not eating or drinking which must be so hard for her, especially with that tube down the back of her throat, which must make her so very thirsty. But the doctor this evening did say she could suck on ice cubes (as long as she did not inhale or is that ingest?)Ok I don't think Daddy can remember any more of my dictation so I will get him to post some photos.

alessia, you have the best dad, he knows we are all out here waiting to hear/see/read how you and mum are getting along. slow going for your mom but if you say she's better, i'll take your word for it. and you, you are sooo beautiful, maybe you do look a little bit like your dad, but mostly you will always look absolutely like yourself... love all three of you
You DO look like your dad - especially the first photo... have dad get out some baby pictures of him and show you them - you'll think you're looking in a mirror.
i hear a new edition is in the works... can't wait! in the meantime i did get to hear mum is coming along! congratulations to the three of you!!
